About us · Established 2026
We publish what happened, not what we were told.
Chavoloop is a small independent editorial publication covering Gambling Commission licensed casino brands for readers in Great Britain.
Why we exist
Search for a UK casino review and you will mostly find pages assembled from operator marketing copy by writers who have never held an account. They read fluently, list the same bullet points, and answer none of the questions that actually matter: how long does a withdrawal take, what happens when verification stalls, and can you set a deposit limit without emailing support.
We started Chavoloop in 2026 because those questions are answerable, and answering them requires nothing more exotic than opening an account and using it. That is what we do. Every brand we cover has been funded with our own money, used across several weeks, and withdrawn from at least once before a word is published.
How we test
-
Register as an ordinary customer
No press account, no operator-supplied balance, no advance notice to the brand. If we cannot sign up the way a reader would, we do not cover it.
-
Fund it with our own money
Real deposits from real accounts, across more than one payment method, so we can report what each one actually does rather than what the help centre claims.
-
Use it for weeks, not minutes
Long enough for the ordinary irritations to surface — a declined deposit, a slow chat queue, a bonus condition that only becomes visible after opt-in.
-
Contact support at antisocial hours
We time replies to a human, not to an automated acknowledgement, and we ask questions with genuinely awkward answers.
-
Take a real withdrawal
Timed from request to cleared funds. Nothing reveals an operator's character faster than being asked for money back.
-
Score, publish, revisit
Six weighted criteria, published in full. Every review is revisited at least quarterly and immediately on any material change.
Editorial independence
Some outbound links on this website are commercial. If you register with an operator after following one, we may be paid a fee by that operator. That is how the publication is funded, and we would rather say so plainly than bury it.
What that fee does not buy is a score, a position in a ranking, sight of a review before publication, or the removal of a criticism. Those decisions sit with the editorial team alone and are made before any commercial discussion takes place. A brand that fails our testing simply does not get published, regardless of what it is prepared to pay. Our Advertising Disclosure sets this out in full.
What we will not do
- Cover an operator without a current Gambling Commission licence, under any circumstances.
- Promote gambling as a way to make money, clear a debt, or recover a loss.
- Publish anything designed to be attractive to anyone under 18.
- Hide a wagering requirement, an expiry window or a maximum stake condition in small print.
- Accept payment to remove a criticism or to alter a published score.
